Stockdale Church of Christ Sunday morning worship begins @ 9:30 and is followed with Bible classes for all ages. Wednesday Bible classes begin @ 7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome.

Whew! What a fun time we had with these kids!! I can’t believe we’ve checked off a major summer event! Thank you to all our volunteers who went above and beyond to make this experience extra special for our kids! We couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you, parents, for bringing your little ones every day to have fun with us and learn the story of Moses!

If you have a little one, ask them what their favorite VBS song was. I know mine was “Making Melodies” because of all the smiles on the kids’ faces when we started singing it!

Kids don't need another screen. They need a Savior.

This week, we're excited to welcome children to VBS at Stockdale Church of Christ. As Jeremy reminded us on Sunday, Jesus calls us to have a childlike faith: a faith that trusts Him completely and lets Him shine through our lives.

Over the next two nights, kids will enjoy games, songs, Bible lessons, and plenty of fun while learning more about God's love for them.

If you have children, grandchildren, neighbors, or friends who would like to join us, we'd love to see them there!

This Sunday we're talking about a question many people have asked over the years: Why do we have Vacation Bible School?

The answer goes far beyond crafts, games, and fun activities. Jesus placed tremendous value on children and reminded us that there is something about their trust, humility, and faith that all of us need. Join us as we look at why investing in the next generation matters and what it means to have a childlike faith in a complicated world.

Next week, our building will be full of kids learning about God's power, faithfulness, and love through the stories of Moses at Vacation Bible School. It's a reminder that every generation needs people willing to teach, encourage, and point them toward Jesus.

One of the things I love about our church family is that VBS isn't just for children. It takes teens, adults, parents, grandparents, and volunteers all working together to help plant seeds that can last a lifetime.

If you'd like to be part of that effort, we'd love to have you join us. And if you know a child who could benefit from a week of fun, friendship, and learning about God, invite them to come!

Why do Christians love each other?

Is it because we always agree?
Because we're naturally kind?
Because everyone is easy to love?

Not at all.

Christians love because God loved us first.

When we truly understand the grace, patience, forgiveness, and mercy we've received from Jesus, it changes the way we see other people. It teaches us to love not only our church family, but also our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and even those who are hard to love.

This Sunday, we will be exploring what the Bible teaches about why Christians love each other and why that love extends beyond the walls of the church.

We'd love for you to join us at Stockdale Church of Christ this Sunday at 9:30 AM. ❤️
