So what is it that we give to God? What time do we devote to God each day? As Jana talked about schedules, maybe I, maybe you, maybe we need to schedule Jesus in. Put it into our calendar. Have it pop up a time just like anything else. Write it down in your paper calendar if you need, just like an appointment that you would have for the doctor that you know is necessary. Wouldn't your spiritual life be necessary to you have it ingrained in you that church you come to worship because that's ingrained in you. You know Sunday morning at 11 we have this time set aside but what about your own time? Where are you giving? Have you withheld anything from God to use for this community? Are you giving of your time and your talent and your treasure? These are all prized commodities. Our time is precious. But when you put time into God in prayer, in service, and in worship, God works in amazing ways. our talents, the ways we serve God in specific ways. There are things that some of us can do and some of us cannot do anymore. There are things that we have skills in or memories uh that would help others do the work of carrying out the mission and ministry of the church. How can you pray for the next generation to move and work and be and our treasure that money that we can't take with us but we have pulled in many directions.

The kingdom of God is not just a concept that's unattainable. Starts right here and right now. Who is among us? Who is missing? Who are the people in this community that don't know that they too belong to this strange wonderful banquet where they get to be themselves, not a cleaned up, sanitized version that gets it right all the time? But what about that guest that showed up in the wrong clothes? Is that me? is that the person who did not gonna give you that answer. It's likely the person that was thrown out was the one that wasn't prepared for the strange banquet that let those people in mad about it were sulking were frustrated because it didn't go their way. But as servants of God, let us invite others to come to find a new kind of welcome to come and see that we are open and honest with each other, with ourselves, with God. We are the ones on the path to celebrate a healing of our hearts in relationship with God, others, and ourselves.
