This evening I awarded two students scholarships from my grandmother's scholarship fund. The 2023 "Mrs. Bessie Mae Hayes Scholars" are Miss Kierra Martin who will enter the Master's of Public Health program at Georgia State University and Ms. Taylor Gwyn who is a rising senior biology major at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Both will receive $1000 each and we had 🙏🏾 for a successful academic year🙌🏾
