Today, we celebrate Juneteenth—a day that reminds us that freedom delayed is not freedom denied.

As young adults of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, we honor the resilience, faith, and sacrifices of those who came before us. Their courage paved the way for generations to dream, lead, worship, and walk boldly in purpose.

Juneteenth is more than a date in history. It is a reminder that liberation is both a legacy and a responsibility. We celebrate the progress made, reflect on the work that remains, and commit ourselves to building a future rooted in justice, unity, faith, and hope.

May we continue to rise, serve, and lead with the same strength and determination that carried our ancestors through every trial.
