In today's powerful homily, Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC, reflects on the growing shortage of priests around the world and the urgent need to pray for vocations to the priesthood, religious life, the diaconate, and seminaries. Through inspiring examples from mission territories, he reminds us that the faithful must pray for their shepherds and support those whom God is calling to serve His Church.
Fr. Anthony also speaks about the healing power of Christ and the signs of the Kingdom of God, healing the sick, deliverance, and spiritual renewal. He reminds us that every Mass is a healing Mass, where Jesus desires to heal our physical illnesses, emotional wounds, and painful memories from the past. As disciples of Christ, we are called to pray for healing, seek God's grace, and trust in His power to transform our lives.

On the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fr. Daniel Klimek, reflects on the beginning of Mary’s pierced Heart, when she and St. Joseph searched for the child Jesus and found Him in the Temple. Jesus’ words, “Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” revealed that His mission belonged first to the Father’s will. The Gospel tells us that Mary “kept all these things in her heart” — the pain, the confusion, the fear of losing her Son, and the mystery of His divine mission. In that moment, Mary began to carry the sorrow that would one day lead her to the foot of the Cross.
Mary’s pierced Heart reveals a suffering born from perfect love. Like the mystics who experienced estigmata — the visible or invisible wounds of Christ impressed upon the body or soul — Mary shared deeply in the Passion of her Son. When we unite our own suffering with Jesus Crucified and the Mother of Sorrows, our pain is not wasted. Mary suffers with us, consoles us, and helps transform our wounds into love, prayer, and offering.

In the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC, reflects on how, when life feels broken and we try to fix everything on our own, Jesus invites us to bring our hearts back to Him. Like a car in need of repair, our souls need spiritual maintenance through the Eucharist, consecration, and renewal in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

His Sacred Heart is the treasure chest of divine grace, love, mercy, and reparation. In Him, families, marriages, communities, and nations can be restored. Jesus has already paid the price for sin, and now we are invited to respond with prayers of reparation and gratitude for the graces He provides every day. Through His Sacred Heart, Jesus offers the ultimate solution: love, healing, renewal, and salvation.
