Was Acts chapter 2 really socialism? Does Christian compassion mean supporting someone while removing all personal responsibility? Let’s look at what the Bible actually says!
In Part 12 of Jesus Was Not a Socialist, we discover how biblical generosity works alongside work, family responsibility, and stewardship. The same New Testament that tells us to give also tells us to work, provide for our families, and carry our own responsibilities.
There’s a difference between someone who cannot work and someone who will not work. There’s also a difference between helping someone carry a crushing burden and encouraging permanent dependency. Thank God, His grace helps us when we’re down—and helps us get back up!
Get your Bible and notebook ready. We’ll explore cheerful giving, why work is honorable, and how God blesses us so we can bless others. God doesn’t mind you having things. He just doesn’t want things having you!
