THIS WEEKEND THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL 2nd COLLECTION FOR CATHOLIC CHARITIES!
This weekend we will have a special second collection for Catholic Charities during all of our weekend Masses.

Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma has helped St. Brigid Church here in Tahlequah directly, and our sister church, San Juan Diego in Stilwell, to provide for those in need. They are helping 36 parishes in our region, and they also have 15 programs, 7 locations and 13 monthly mobile food pantries proving food across all of eastern Oklahoma. From providing food to the needy, adult education, workforce development, dental care, disaster outreach and healing ministries just to name a few, our branch of Catholic Charities is making an essential impact for us and many other communities. Great work is being done and much of their volunteer staff which I have met and had the privilege to work with is unparalleled in their kindness, commitment, patience and passionate desire to make a real difference for the greater good of all who suffer.

Special donation envelopes for Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma have been sent to our church - you can pick them up inside vestibule area. (You can find these envelopes placed on the little stand beside the holy water when you walk inside the front doors, and located on the credenza near the box where we drop off donations for CARE food pantry inside the church foyer).

Please consider what you can give to our branch of Catholic Charities this weekend so we can help keep these needed programs and ministries going and the charity flowing! God bless you all!
