Planted things prosper… 🌿🙌🏾

What a fitting word from our Bishop as we concluded our 149th Church Anniversary Celebration… “The Benefits of Being Planted,” Psalm 92:12-15 KJV.

Bishop reminded us that flourishing is the result of being planted. When you’re rooted in God, storms may come, but they won’t uproot you. Planted people remain stable, continue producing, and become living evidence of God’s faithfulness.

Happy Father’s Day to the incredible men among us. We honor and love you! 👏🏾💙

Tomorrow marks the culmination of our 149th Church Anniversary Celebration! 🎉

Join us as we give God thanks for a week of worship and celebration, while also honoring fathers and father figures whose love, leadership, and sacrifice continue to make a difference. 👔

Night 3 of our 149th Church Anniversary was a powerful reminder that no matter what road we travel, God’s grace is able to bring us through and cause us to flourish. 🙌🏾🌿

Bishop Darnell Houston preached a life-changing message entitled, “From Hell Alley to Blessed Boulevard” from Psalm 92:15. He reminded us that the path to God’s promises is not always easy, but if we remain planted and trust God through the difficult seasons, He will bring us from places of pain, struggle, and adversity into a place of blessing, purpose, and flourishing.

We are grateful to Bishop Darnell Houston and the Greater Within family for accepting our invitation and celebrating with us. Special thanks to Overseer Shakeydra Andrews and Overcomers Worship Center, Pastor & Lady Roscoe Sanders and Northside Church of God, as well as Pastor Zykee Evans and Sweetfield of Eden Baptist Church, for joining us in worship.

We thank God for another impactful night of our 149th Church Anniversary Celebration! 🙌🏾

Using our theme, “Graced to Flourish,” Pastor Laquine Pinkney, reminded us from Psalm 92:12-15 that flourishing begins with being firmly planted in God. Through His grace, we develop deep roots, endure life's storms, and continue to grow and bear fruit in every season. 🌿✨

Thank you to Pastor Pinkney and the Church of the Harvest family for accepting our invitation and sharing with us on tonight. We’d also like to thank Pastor Johnnie Miller and Harvest of Believers Church, and Deacon John Milton of Royal Temple Holiness Church for worshipping with us.

Something Good. Something God. The Holy Ghost swept through the house 🙌🏾🔥

Today, Bishop encouraged us with an impromptu message “Don’t Let Your Situation, Determine Your Outcome”from Romans 4:20 and reminded us that faith is not moved by what we see, but by what God has spoken.

🗣️ Don’t allow your circumstances to convince you that God has changed His mind about what He promised.

Like Abraham, we must trust God even when things look impossible.

🗣️ It takes faith to hold on to the promise.

We left encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that God is still faithful, still working, and still able.

We would also like to thank Candidate Ceretta Smith for Georgia’s 12th Congressional District for worshiping with us today. Your presence was truly appreciated.
