* 10 am Gathered Worship -- Our weekly Gathered Worship Service is at 10 am. Summer Kids Worship is for children age 4 through 5th grade -- they are dismissed before the sermon to the Narthex to meet with their leaders. Nursery is provided during worship for children 3 years and under.

Our Adult Discipleship class topic of study is, On The Shoulders of Giants. In the coming months, we will take a journey through Christian history. This journey will see how God has worked and how the Church has both succeeded and struggled in its attempt to declare Christ to the world. This class will be historically educational, interesting and applicable as we learn from the victories and mistakes of our Christian forefathers. Led by Pastor Nick, you will definitely learn something new and grow in your faith.

SUMMER SUNDAE KIDS WORSHIP
This summer (begins June 7) our students age 4 through 5th grade will enjoy Summer Sundae Kids Worship. At the 10 am Gathered Worship Service students are dismissed after the hymn to meet with their leaders in the Preschool Room for an age-appropriate, Bible based video series called Storybook.

We have printed copies at the Welcome Center of the weekly Prayer Sheet, listing specific folks to pray for and also an alphabetical rotation of families to keep in prayer. If you have any updates to those listed or have a new prayer request let us know by emailing [email protected].

Enjoy some fellowship, volleyball, grilled meats and other good food as we kick off the summer together. Everyone is invited, for all ages! Food and drinks provided. Bring a lawn chair and your friends! Junior High Youth will enjoy the party, Senior High Youth will have Bible study at 7pm.

Kishwaukee Cemetery Memorial Day Service
The 156th consecutive Kishwaukee Cemetery Association Memorial Day Service will be held at 10 am on Monday, May 25, 2026 at the cemetery on Kishwaukee Road. (In case of inclement weather the service would be held in Kishwaukee Church). Founded in 1845 the Kishwaukee Cemetery is believed to be the oldest burial spot for settlers in Winnebago County. Veterans from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War are buried in this pristine rural cemetery.
The Kishwaukee Community Evangelical Presbyterian Church and Kishwaukee Cemetery are the only institutions left of Kishwaukee. The town of Kishwaukee was founded by David Shumway, a carpenter who traveled to Kishwaukee from Vermont, arriving in May of 1836.

Gluten free wafers can be found at the Welcome Center where you pick up your bulletins. The poured juice we serve is gluten free, but for those who prefer the sealed juice option you can find those there, also. Pick up the items and bring them into the sanctuary with you. ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 26, 2026

SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE
* 8:45 am Adult Class -- Hebrews Class led by Mike Shea in Fellowship Hall. Childcare is available.
* 9:30 am Coffee Fellowship -- Join us for a coffee fellowship time at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall
* 10 am Gathered Worship -- Our weekly Gathered Worship Service is at 10 am. Kids Worship is for children age 4 through 5th grade -- they are dismissed after the hymn to the Narthex to meet with their leaders. Nursery is provided during worship for children 3 years and under.
* Busy Bags Available -- Please take a Busy Bag for your kiddos to use during worship. Keep the artwork and return the bag & supplies to the Narthex after service is over.

Prayer Sheet Available
We have printed copies at the Welcome Center of the weekly Prayer Sheet, listing specific folks to pray for and also an alphabetical rotation of families to keep in prayer. If you have any updates to those listed or have a new prayer request let us know by emailing [email protected].

Once a Week Prayer Meetings (link sent out each Monday)
Join us for our Weekly Prayer Meeting, each Wednesday evening at 8:00 pm. A reminder with the link will be sent each Monday. Email the office if you don’t get the Zoom links and would like to join us, [email protected]

Adult Choir Rehearsal on Wednesdays
Choir Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings, 7 pm in the sanctuary. All voices are welcome to join us.

Devotionals Available
The May-June edition of the Upper Room are available on the table in the narthex, under the bulletin board.

Women's Bible Study Meets on Thursdays
The Women's Bible Study is studying Heaven -- When Faith Becomes Sight by Jennifer Rothschild. Classes meet through May 21 -- there is a 9am class and a 6pm class. Cost $22 (includes video access). Books are available in the church office.

FLOWERS SALES CONTINUE SUNDAY!
The annual Flower Sales Fundraiser for students going to Camp will take place on Sundays before and after church. Delivery of orders will be May 3.
We will be offering gift cards in $25 increments and $30 hanging baskets of Ivy Geraniums, New Guinea Impatiens, or Wave Petunias.
