Happy to support such a wonderful ministry

Thank you to The Marthas and Marys (M&Ms), Living Water Lutheran Church's Women's Ministry.
Terri Sprouse, a member of the group, presented a $500 check in support of Haven Ministries' transitional housing programs last week.

We couldn't do what we do, without those in the background supporting us. So thank you M&Ms for the continued support of this ministry!

Ministry Highlight: Backpack Buddies

We are so thankful for the church volunteers who gather after worship on Sunday and assemble bags of food and snacks for students at Grasonville Elementary. These members spend their time also delivering these bags to the school for distribution and work to ensure the children always have breakfast and lunch.

May we celebrate the hard earned freedoms and continue to be inspired by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to work for justice

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. "Remember and give thanks for the life, teaching and advocacy of Martin Luther King Jr. for the sake of justice, inclusion and the value of all people, especially those who suffer persecution, racism, disdain or oppression. Pray that we will be inspired by our neighbors and siblings in Christ who are fearless and persistent in their advocacy and compassion for others." (From 1/19/2025 Prayer Ventures)
