Ah! Love! It’s what makes the world go around. It is what poets and songwriters obsess over and make a living off of; what movies must always at least contain a subplot of. It is a driving force and ‘makes’ people do stupid things. As a culture, we just love the idea of love. But do we understand love the way the author of love defines it?
Topic of conversation tonight! 6:30 at the church.

WHY does a good God allow evil to exist? THIS question prevents so many people from trusting Jesus. What say you?
See you @6:30pm

Raise your hand if you like to suffer… not just complain, but suffer. Complaining is easy! But suffering is different - it implies emotional anguish associated with physical or emotional pain. It is not so easy… easy to endure or do well. All of us have to go through it and there is certainly much of it in this world. This begs the question… why? What is the point of all this suffering?
See you all this evening! 6:30 at the church.

"Epicurus's old questions are yet unanswered. Is he willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is impotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Whence then is evil?" 4 David Hume, Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion, Part X
How would you answer this? Can you? This is the topic of this evening’s discussion tonight, 6:30pm at the church.

If you break the law, say you’re speeding and get pulled over doing 50 in a 25; and you tell the trooper that you didn’t see the sign and he should let you off. Or perhaps you were really in a hurry and running late so the speed limit shouldn’t apply to you at this moment. Can’t he just do you a solid and let it pass this time? Think it would work?
Yeah, probably not.
In a functioning society, we conform ourselves to the law of the land, whether we agree fully or not. Is Scripture to be treated differently?
See you this evening… 6:30 at the church.

Tonight we serve! We’ll be splitting into 2 groups… one will be doing some yard work for an elderly couple in our church. If you’re doing this, bring work gloves and a rake (if you have one). Other project is in the kitchen making freezer meals for Hope School on the Flathead Reservation for our missionaries there. See you tonight! All groups meet at 6:30 at the church as usual 😊

This evening's topic is one of the most fascinating and, in my opinion, convincing proofs to the authority of the God of the Bible. Who else can declare the end from the beginning and from ancient times, things which have not been done? Who else knows the future? Who else described, in detail, what to watch for in Messiah? How close did He come?
See y'all this evening! 6:30pm at the church.

How can you trust that the scriptures we have are the same as originals? If you are going to build your life on this book, this is an important question… and the topic of conversation for this evening. 6:30pm at the church.

The church in Nepal sends greetings! How cool is that? That here, on the other side of the world, your story and theirs have found a link (and it's not me!) You've always shared this link... you just may not have realized that yet. Well tonight that's what we get to talk about ... stories. Join us this evening at 6:30pm at the church.
