Drum roll, please..... The Vocations Office is happy to announce that there are THREE new seminarians this fall for our Diocese! 🎉🎉🎉There names are: Christopher McGurn, Jonathan Ruscoe and Samuel Ivkovich!!! You should see a new poster up in your parish in the next month and there will also be new prayer cards. Both will show all our seminarians. Thank you for praying! Please don't stop now!

Don't forget to pray for our seminarians! They are off on retreat this week. May they grow together as brothers and grow closer to the Lord! Thanks for praying!

Our seminarians will be on retreat soon from Aug 1 - 4. Please pray for them to grow together in brotherhood and a shared vision of service to the souls the Lord sends them. (No doubt, there will also be some high jinks, too!)

In the Steubenville area? If so, there is a newly scheduled Holy Half Hour on the last Thursdays of each month from June forward. The next one is on June 30 - THIS THURSDAY - from 12:30-1pm at Triumph of the Cross parish. Come one, come all!

Today is the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests. Find a priest and tell him how grateful you are for his gift of himself to bring us the Sacraments! Then say a prayer for that priest's personal holiness to grow more perfectly to what our Heavenly Father desires. We all have our struggles to bear.

Current and future seminarians for the Diocese of Steubenville are on a "tour of the Diocese," which is focusing on the southern counties. This morning they visited Sacred Heart, Pomeroy for Mass and Adoration. Please pray for them as they learn more about our Diocese and enjoy a few days together! Pictured with Fr. Don't forget about the June sacrifice challenge! Swap out two hours of secular screen time a week for two hours of faith formation time. Read or listen to a new book, check out the countless movies and other videos available through FORMED, try out a new Catholic podcast! Share your finds with the rest of us!

Our intrepid Vocations Director, Fr. Josh Erickson, will be taking our current and future seminarians on a "tour of the Diocese," focusing on the southern counties, where the men are the least familiar with the parishes, town names and so forth. Pray for them as they have this chance to bond with each other, learn about our Diocese and enjoy a few days together!
Stay tuned for an announcement about our new seminarians for this fall! Acceptance letters to seminary are anxiously anticipated! When they arrive, we will happily introduce them to you all!
