r servers are trained by a staffer of Franciscan University, an expert in the Traditional Latin Mass, who began serving it when he was seven in the mid-1980s. Sacred music is usually provided by the University's Schola Cantorum Franciscana, one of the musical ensembles supported by the Sacred Music Program and directed by a professor of Sacred Music.

"I am convinced that the Devil, whom we are constantly being told does not exist, must truly hate anyone who, with a sincere heart and extra effort, prays in the official language of the Church—a language which traces itself back to the great Fathers of The Church and their inestimable writings."

We wish to thank all who helped to make this past Sunday's Missa Solemnis possible. It was very beautiful and everyone contributed to making it as prayerful as possible, both for all those serving in the sanctuary as well as all of those in attendance.

Just a heads up: practice this Wednesday (10/28) is CANCELLED due to fall break. Practices will resume on Wednesday, 11/4, at 9:00 PM. However, due to a presentation being held in Christ the King at that time, practice will again be moved to the Gentile Gallery on the bottom floor of the JC Williams Center.

CHANGE OF VENUE: Tonight's EF Server practice at 9 p.m. will be in the Gentile Gallery, not Christ the King Chapel.

It will be Low Mass Practice, so we will have at least four new servers in the "sanctuary" learning the motions.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Servers— A few things of note: Share this page with your friends who would be interested in serving. We will do our best to get everyone involved.

This Sunday: Come to Christ the King Chapel for the Missa Cantata at 2 p.m. to help set up.

Practices: We will have two Low Mass practices the next two Wednesdays, September 30 and October 7. The two Wednesdays after that, October 14 and 21, will be practices for the Solemn High Mass on October 25, the Solemnity of Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, which is, of course, the patronal feast of Christ the King Chapel.
