Took some of our youth group to the Ignite Youth Leadership Conference this weekend and wow… what an experience 🤍

So much fun, so many laughs, and even more growth. The breakout sessions were incredibly informative and truly challenged our students (and honestly, the adults) to step up as leaders in their faith and everyday lives.

Grateful to pour into this next generation and watch them lean in, ask questions, and grow. God is doing something special in these kids!

Games were played. Snacks were crushed. Laughter was loud!

Tonight we switched things up and had youth group at the Tompkins house, and it was SUCH a good time. Most Sundays we meet at the church from 6:30–8:00pm, and we’re always ready for fun, friends, and lots of laughs.

Got a teen in 6th grade and up? Come hang out with us. We’d love to have you 💛

We’ve been hard at work creating a youth group room we can all enjoy, and these sweet kiddos jumped right in to help! From priming the walls to sharing laughs along the way, it’s been such a fun time working together and watching this space come to life.

Abide Youth is all about growing in faith, building friendships, and doing life together. If you’re 12 years and up and looking for a place to hang out, play games, and connect with others who love Jesus, come join us! Everyone’s welcome. 🎨💛

🌟 Youth Group Launch! 🌟

Volume 1: Creation & Covenant
When: Sunday, September 7
Time: 6:30–8:00 PM
Where: 14201 Cottonwood Cir. Sterling
This fall, our youth group will dive into Volume 1: Creation and Covenant from The Gospel Project.

From the very beginning: we’ll explore how God created everything with purpose and for His glory. Yet, when sin entered the world, God responded with a promise; a covenant that sets His rescue plan in motion through Jesus, a descendant of Abraham. Over the course of 13 sessions, we’ll journey through stories that include:
God’s amazing creation, humanity’s rebellion and the fallout, the covenant promise made to Abraham, the unfolding of that promise through Isaac, Jacob, Esau, and Joseph, and the story of Job, which points us toward God’s faithfulness amid suffering . Every story we’ll tackle is part of a Christ-centered, chronological study that shows how each event in the Old Testament ultimately points to Jesus and His work of redemption .

Welcome to Abide Youth Group

Why Abide? Because our heart is to be a group that stays rooted in Scripture, grounded under the authority of Christ, and growing in Him together. John 15:4 says, “Abide in me, and I in you.” That’s our prayer as we begin this journey.

We’re kicking off our very first night the first Sunday in September from 6:30pm-8pm (time may change later) location is TBD. Abide is for all students 6th grade and up, and friends are more than welcome.

This is a place to belong, a place to grow, a place to make lasting friendships, and a place to discover what it means to truly abide in Christ. We cannot wait to see what God has in store. 🙌
