🌞A beautiful final Sunday on the Common!

We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier morning as we gathered outdoors one last time this summer—sunshine, music, children playing, friends (both two- and four-legged!), and our church family worshiping together under the trees.

With Pastor Robin unfortunately home sick, Sarah Goodwin graciously stepped in at the last minute to lead worship and preach, and she did a wonderful job. We are so grateful for her willingness to say “yes” when she was needed!

This morning’s call to worship offered a beautiful reminder of who we strive to be as a church:

“Come with your joy and your weariness, your faith and your questions.

There is room for all of us here.”

That spirit of welcome, community, and making room for one another felt especially fitting as we closed out another summer of worship on the Common.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these outdoor Sundays possible—and to everyone who joined us along the way.

Next Sunday, we’ll see you back in the sanctuary!
