The people closest to a declining church may be the last to feel the danger.
When the body is under stress, it protects the core first, while the edges feel the cold. The same thing can happen in a church. Money pulls inward. Energy pulls inward. Attention pulls inward. The core may feel warm while visitors, neighbors, and outsiders already feel the cold.
Acts asks us an honest question: are there signs of life here?
Jesus is alive, and His church should have a pulse.
