Thank you to everyone who tuned in or joined us in-person for Advent by Candlelight. This year’s event certainly felt more somber than last year, but we are thankful to Mary Wilkerson for sharing her message of hope and look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in a few short weeks.

Advent By Candlelight is at 5:00pm tomorrow! In an effort to reduce contact, printed programs will not be distributed for the event. Save these images to your phone and you will be all set for the event!

Here a few quick reminders for anyone attending the event in-person.

Doors will open at 4:40 p.m.; our event begins at 5:00 p.m.

We will use the Fr. Welch Hall and Confessional Door as entrances (no other doors will be open)

Masks are required during the event

Please fill in at pew ends as close to the altar as possible

You do not need to print a ticket to attend

If you attended last year, you know the message Mary Wilkerson brought was very moving. If you would like to bring a family member or friend we still have tickets available. You can also evangelize by sharing this event via Livestream.

As someone who is mourning the loss of Fr. Mike we know tomorrow will be difficult but we know he loved his parishioners and he loved Jesus. He was a holy man who would want us to begin this holy season of Advent as a parish family.

The Dynamic Parish Ministry was saddened to learn of Fr. Mike’s passing and we
will always keep Fr. Mike’s memory alive with fondness and appreciation. He wholeheartedly believed in the mission of our ministry and provided his full support as we worked to enhance the faith lives of the St. Peter Parish community.

After conferring with parish leadership, we have decided to proceed with Advent by Candlelight as planned on Sunday evening because Father Mike wouldn’t have it any other way.

We are thrilled to announce the return of Advent by Candlelight on Sunday, November 29 at 5:00pm in St. Peter Church! Mary Wilkerson will return as our speaker for the event with a special Advent message.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS YEAR’S EVENT WILL NOT INCLUDE A CANDLELIGHT MEAL IN THE FR. WELCH HALL. Instead, we are encouraging families to safely gather and share a meal before or after the presentation.

Sunday afternoon's drive-in event at Freedom Hill is RAIN OR SHINE! If it happens to rain, it will be a true drive-in experience and still be fun for everyone. Last-minute tickets will be available at the gate until we reach the 150-car capacity.

We can't wait to see all of you at the drive-in on Sunday! There will be a candy tent and popcorn truck on-site for purchasing concessions. The owner of the drive-in is trying to secure one additional food truck for the movie. If you know of a great one or have a connection let us know!
