WOMENS CONFERENCE

MEET BREAKOUT SPEAKER

TOPIC: The Cross
What does the cross mean to you?
The cross represents salvation, forgiveness, and the immeasurable love of the Lord. Why do we glory in the cross? Because the cross is the only way to salvation. Jesus calls us to surrender ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. In this session, Lori will share what it truly means to embrace the cross and live as a faithful follower of Christ.

About Lori Hunter
Lori Hunter has lived in Stephenville, Texas, throughout her adult life. She and her husband, Blake, have been married for 25 years. They have two children, Kaleb and Ashley, and two wonderful grandchildren, Addilina, age four, and Haydn, age two.

In 2021, the Lord led Lori to attend Kenneth Copeland Bible College for two years. This became one of her first experiences living in an RV. She believes the Lord provided just what she needed, giving her a place where she could live, learn, and spend precious time with Him.

Lori and Blake are currently pursuing a remarkable building plan that the Lord has placed on their hearts. One of Lori’s greatest desires is for her grandchildren to know the Lord, understand how deeply He loves them, and choose to love and serve Him with all their hearts.

This season has been one of the most challenging of Lori’s life. During the past two years, she and Blake sold their home and purchased a property that required extensive cleanup and restoration. Blake stepped away from a 25-year career in the electrical industry, while Lori returned to the food-service industry she loves—serving others in what she affectionately calls “contained chaos.” During this time, her daughter and grandchildren also moved two and a half hours away, which was heartbreaking for her.

Through every change and challenge, Lori believes the Lord is rebuilding what has been broken and making all things new. Her guiding Scripture is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

The Apostle Paul wrote these words from a Roman prison after learning to be content in every circumstance—whether he had plenty or was in need. Lori believes the Lord is speaking this same truth over her family’s journey: have faith, believe what He has spoken, and learn to enjoy the journey with Him.

WOMENS CONFERENCE
Saturday, October 17
MEET BREAKOUT SPEAKER

TOPIC: The Neuropathways with God
Life experiences—especially in our earliest years—can shape how our minds and emotions respond today. Yet in Christ, we are invited into a new way of living—one marked by peace, freedom, and confidence. Together, we’ll intentionally seek Jesus—learning to think like Him, rest in Him, and let His truth form new pathways that open us to the unlimited life God created us to live

Karen grew up on a dairy farm, where she developed a deep appreciation for agriculture and learned the importance of stewardship of both the land and the animals from an early age. She earned her degree in Finance from Hardin-Simmons University before joining AGR Partners, where she has built her career supporting the firm’s investment and operations initiatives. Following a stint in California, she and her husband, Jordan, returned to Dublin, Texas, where they started a feedlot operation that raises replacement heifers for local dairies. Together, they are raising their three wonderful children and enjoy sharing with them a love of agriculture, horses, and the rural way of life.

** Girlfriends & Grace NEW STUDY starting THIS TUESDAY**

Do you ever wake up feeling like you are already behind for the day ? Every item you cross off your to do list, three more tasks suddenly appear… the feelings of being overwhelmed and overbooked seems to be every day instead of occasionally? The results ? God ends up getting the leftovers. It’s not that you don’t desire to have time with Him; you do but at the end of a long, busy day, the desire to check out and binge watch your favorite show or unwind with endless social media reels sometimes outweighs the desire to spend time with God.

We often accept that distracted and overwhelmed is life but it doesn’t have to be! John 10:10 reminds us that “I came so they might have life, and may have it abundantly.” Abundantly doesn’t mean overwhelmed and overbooked but rooted, steady and devoted to the Lord.

Please join Girlfriends & Grace for a new study starting this Tuesday at 6:30pm. We’ll be discussing How to keep up with God when you’re just trying to keep up with life. See y’all Tuesday!
