What if God’s silence isn’t absence, but a form of resistance?
Today we’re reflecting on the "Love in Silence" found in Isaiah 53. In a world that demands we speak our truth and shout down our enemies, Jesus chose a different path, one that subverts power by refusing to play by its rules.
Join us as we look at why the silence of the Cross is the loudest thing in history.

In a world addicted to "loudness" and the constant clamor for power, the Cross offers a different frequency. This Good Friday, we dive intothe "Fifth Gospel" ...

We don’t need more arguments. We need more towels.
Let’s be honest, our world is exhausted. Between political polarization and the epidemic of loneliness, it’s easy to want to "wash our hands" of the pain around us.
But Maundy Thursday reminds us of a different way. As United Methodists, we believe there is "no holiness but social holiness." Our faith isn’t just a private feeling; it’s a public service. Tonight, we’re looking at how the "Cup of Salvation" fuels us to bridge the divides in our community.
Are you weary? Come be reminded that you are loved. Then, let’s go out and change the world together.

What does it look like to follow a King who kneels? On the night he was betrayed, Jesus didn't pick up a sword to conquerhis enemies; he picked up a towel to ...

How do palms become stones?
We all love a parade, but what happens when the "Hosannas" of Sunday fade into the silence of Friday? This Palm Sunday, we dove into some of the most "difficult words" of Jesus in the Gospel of John.
With help from the brilliant Dr. Amy-Jill Levine, we’re looking past the pageantry and into the mirror. Are we practicing the radical hospitality of Abraham, or are we picking up stones of judgment?
Watch the full sermon here to see how we transition from the high of the triumphal entry to the sobering reality of the cross.

Welcome to Palm Sunday, the day of vibrant celebration, wavingbranches, and the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. But as anyseasoned believer knows, t...

What if we’ve been reading the Parable of the Talents all wrong?
In our latest sermon, we dive into the scholarship of Dr. Amy-Jill Levine to look at Matthew 25:14-30. Often, we treat this as a story about divine bookkeeping. But what if it’s actually a warning about the paralysis of fear?
In a world that tells us to hoard our resources and fear our neighbors, Jesus calls us to a holy speculation. The only way to keep your grace in the Kingdom of Heaven is to give it away!

Are you playing it safe, or are you living boldly? In this sermon, we dive deep into one of the most misunderstoodparables in the New Testament: The Parable o...

While we can’t gather in the sanctuary, we can still gather around the Word. This week’s sermon is all about the radical call to be a "slave to all," relinquishing our status to serve others.

Snow Day Challenge: While you're watching the sermon at the link below, think about one neighbor you can check on or a driveway you can help clear once the wind dies down. Let’s put "servant leadership" into practice today!

It’s easy to love "the world." It’s a lot harder to love the person living in the apartment or house next door.
This week, we explored one of Jesus’ most perplexing commands, to stay away from the "outsiders" and focus on the "lost sheep" at home. Is Jesus being provincial? Or is he calling us to a radical kind of local accountability?
Check out the latest sermon where we discuss:

What it actually means to be "worthy" of the Gospel.
Why "shaking the dust" might be the most healthy thing you do this week.

Have you ever been uncomfortable with the things Jesus said? InMatthew 10, Jesus gives his disciples some very "un-universal"instructions: "Go nowhere among ...
