Join us on Sunday as we explore: Loss, Love and Loyalty based on Ruth 1:1-22.

Pastor Les Horning invites us to focus on: Where do we turn when all the doors have been slammed shut and we wonder if we can trust God's love to show up?

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the good news of Jesus. Based on Philippians 1:1-18a Les Horning's sermon title is: We're in this Together.

The good news of Jesus, our experience of God’s love and grace, is not an individual possession but a communal reality that God is enacting all the time and in which we are invited to participate. We’re in this together!

Join us in person or virtually this Sunday as we explore Acts 17:16-31. Pastor Les Horning sermon title is: Knocking Down Temples.

Our focus statement is: Paul tells the Athenians that “God doesn’t dwell in temples made with human hands.” Yet we humans
create temples all the time, imagining God fits in them. What temples do we need to knock down to make space for God?

This Sunday, April 26, we will focus on Creation Care in our Ekklesia service. The guiding text is Psalm 104:1-35 (CEB). The focus statement is:

"Many of us speak of encountering God in nature. If we view nature as God’s good gift to us, how then do we care for this good gift?"

Several of us from SCMC enjoyed creating a mandala art piece this afternoon with Carol Brunk.

Bill Hoffman will share his experience working with Mennonite Disaster Service.

In Jesus’ first encounter (John 20:19-31) with the disciples after the resurrection, he tells them that “Just as the Father sent me, so am I sending you.” With all their faults and failures, Jesus still invites them, and us, to continue the work he had begun.

Easter Sunday: Today we celebrate the resurrection of Christ—death could not defeat him. Jesus lives! Like the first disciples, we find ourselves holding both wonder and dissonance, asking: what does this mean for us now?

Join us at 10:30am as we reflect deeply on Death and Resurrection—the cross and the life beyond it—through singing, prayer, and thoughtful presence together.

This Sunday is Palm Sunday. Rev Leah Delong will bring the message titled: The Path to the Cross based on John 19:16b–22; 12:12–27 (NRSV).

Join us as we make the journey together while dwelling in dissonance.
