About 10 miles north of Niagara Falls, NY via Niagara Scenic Parkway, our interfaith retreat center in a tranquil, natural setting has meeting rooms for groups, overnights, individual private retreats, sponsored spiritual & wellness retreats and more. The Center of Renewal Retreat & Conference Center is located on the grounds of Stella Niagara, only two miles north of the Village of Lewiston, NY
and ten miles from iconic Niagara Falls via the Niagara Scenic Parkway. This tranquil, 100+-acre scenic site offers a sense of peacefulness with nature trails, a Peace Garden, an outdoor labyrinth, athletic fields, and nearby Stella Niagara Preserve (Western New York Land Conservancy) along the Lower Niagara River. Groups, churches, and organizations are welcome to reserve reasonably-priced meeting and sleeping rooms for day and overnight events, plus meals, beverage service, snacks, A-V equipment, and more. Retreats & workshops are offered on various topics throughout the year including preached, sponsored, directed, group, and/or private retreats. Authors, spiritual directors, and other notable retreat presenters are periodically scheduled. Having started during the "pandemic pause", the Center of Renewal also periodically offers "Devotion-by-Distance" online retreats and book clubs incorporating adult distance learning principles and practices. Overnight sleeping rooms are available for up to 80+ people, and multiple meeting rooms can accommodate from 2 to 100 people at one time (barring any pandemic social distancing limitations). The facility has Wireless Internet (WI-FI), elevators for easy access to all floors, snack machines, and scheduled meals, beverages, and snacks by advance reservation. COVID-19 VACCINATION PROTOCOLS AT THIS TIME: Stella Niagara and the Center of Renewal (COR) is requiring everyone to be FULLY VACCINATED (original vaccination cards w/dates required). "Fully vaccinated" means you received two vaccinations of either Pfizer or Moderna (or one J&J vaccine) plus completed the two weeks waiting period AFTER the last injection date. Health and safety protocols are adopted as guided by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), Niagara County, and the Stella Niagara leadership team. Unvaccinated guests with medical exemptions approved by COR at least two weeks in advance of arrival must meet certain additional requirements for documentation; call 716-754-7376, Ext. 1 for details as needed. Religious exemptions may be considered if not receiving the COVID-19 vaccination is one of the formal tenets of an organized religion; call 716-754-7376, Ext. 1 for more details as needed. MASKS are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests at this time, but those individuals have the personal option whether to wear a mask or not. Anyone attending a COR event with an approved-by-COR-in-advance exemption will be required to wear a mask during their stay for the safety of self and others. Our staff is available to assist your group in planning your meeting; we also have an on-staff professional facilitator to present retreats and/or workshops here or at your location depending upon the topic and theme of your retreat.
