Every church on social media is inviting you to visit them and attend worship. We’ve done that too. But here's the difference..., Piney Grove is intentionally inviting you into our home, our church home. To worship as part of a community of faith, a church family. To sit with us at the table when we eat, to stand with us when we sing, to bow heads with us as we pray, to encourage, listen, and serve alongside someone trying their best to do their best. Even after 198 years of continuing to be the fountainhead of Methodism in Lowndes County, we are actively encouraging the expansion of His Kingdom, bringing people to Jesus Christ, making disciples of them, and sending them into the community all while worshipping passionately, loving extravagantly, and witnessing boldly! We begin worship every Sunday at 9:28 am and our church grounds are easily found at 102 Fernbank Road in the Steens Community. It’s only a short drive east from Columbus and just a little south of Caledonia. We understand it sometimes takes a little courage to step out and go to a church you’ve either never been to, not all that familiar with, been a while, or still looking for one. We get that. But here, you’ll be warmly received and made to feel right at home in our historic, beautiful sanctuary. This Sunday would be a wonderful time to accept our invitation into this church home and worship as part of our church family! Blessings await!
