Today our Pre K and After Schoolers learned about the American Flag and the meaning of Memorial Day. Then this afternoon they had a ceremony “Picking up the Flags”. The ceremony started with the citing the Pledge of Allegiance then they paraded across the front of the Church picking up the flags with “God Bless America “ playing in the background! We all are so proud of them honoring our Flag and all the Military that had protected our Freedom!

Today, our Pre-K and after-school students participated in an educational program about the American Flag and the significance of Memorial Day, followed by a ceremony called "Picking up the Flags." The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, after which the students marched across the front of the church while collecting flags, set to the music of "God Bless America." We take great pride in witnessing the students honor our national flag and acknowledge the sacrifices of our military personnel who have protected our freedom.
