A Big Shoutout of "Thankyou!" To Odd Fellow Member named Andrew who made Lone Oak 2 Beautiful!!! Andrew Thankyou for recently mowing. Truly appreciate it very much! And A Big Thankyou to Family members of Loved ones there! Why? Well let me tell you....it is heartwarming to see the cemetery getting decorated with colorful flowers etc! It warms the heart to know members are seeing and remembering their loved ones! Even found flowers on old sites that haven't had any on them before! Would love to see every site decorated! Wouldn't it be a sight? How about it? If you plan to visit, May I ask that you bring an extra for somebody's loved one who are unable to visit?

Lone Oak 2 is ready for families to visit their loved ones. Before and after photos....
We are NOT members of Odd fellows nor are we the actual care taker for Lone Oak 2. My husband and I have loved ones there. We have been cleaning and keeping the cemetery up keep voluntary for years....even back when Wayne was overseeing it before he came ill. Thankyou to Rodger, Terry and Rachel who helped make this Beautiful! There is freshly spread gravel, mowed lawn and we removed blue trash bin in back. We ask members to use the trash bin up front by entrance until we can provide another. There was plenty of trash scattered with needles and bottles so we removed it. A call was also placed to Marion county police to help keep an eye on unwanted activity in back. Lone Oak 2 has a special place in our hearts. I went through the whole process years ago with Odd Fellows about it not being taken care of. Moving forward .. we just made it part of our routine to do our part for all the loved ones there including ours. Happy 2023 Memorial Day in advance! Make Memorial day everyday.
