We kicked off Calvary Kid’s Club tonight for grades Pre-K to 5th and I want to say thank you to all who came together to pull it off.

It was a wonderful night of discipleship with you and I look forward to watching these kids grow in the Lord for years to come!

This Sunday we’ve got Sunday School from 9-10:15am, the worship service from 10:30 to 11:40am, youth band practice from 4 to 5pm, the church wide evening study in James chapter one and prayer time from 5-6pm and then youth games from 6:00 to 6:30pm!

Miss Margaret is one of our beloved Sunday School teachers at Calvary Baptist Church - Staunton and her class takes up an offering throughout the year.

Each year they decide where God wants the money to go. This year, one of our own, the Plessner’s, suffered a house fire in Maine. The kids decided they wanted the money to go towards replacing some of what the Plessner’s lost and fortunately, Josh is in town for the week before he heads back!

We’re grateful God gave us this opportunity and we love you Travis, Naomi, Miles, and Sadie!

It’s Holy Week!

This week, we recognize that week so long ago when Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, the last supper and washing of the disciples feet, His crucifixion and death, and lastly, HIS RESURRECTION!

“He paid it all, all to Him I owe.”

We are saved by no work of our own. Serve Him because of what He has secured for you! ✝️

The youth group over at CBC Staunton has been busy!!! We started the week off with a 15 hour drive to the beautiful state of Maine where we met with a church plant that we are helping with.

We have prayer walked, evangelized, done service projects, worshiped, and had lots of fun. Enjoy some of the pictures!

FYI… Maine is just three percent evangelical Christian… please keep them in your prayers!
