Proclaim the message, be ready whether or not the time is convenient. Refute, warn, and encourage with the utmost patience when you teach.

For the time will come when people will not tolerate healthy doctrine, but with itching ears will surround themselves with teachers who cater to their own desires (2 Timothy 4:2–3).

God didn't call us to be popular, to fit in, or to cater to people. He called us to follow Him and preach the truth: not watered down, not apologetic, and not twisted, but full truth.

Yet today, church leaders, elders, and Christians in general have gone to two extremes:

Watering down the truth. They prioritize popularity over God’s Word, condoning sinful behavior just so they don't offend anyone.

Or lacking love and patience. They beat others down with their "theology" so much that people leave the church more bruised than they were to begin with.

Does that mean we beat the sin out of them with spiritual abuse? No. Our job is NOT to judge their sins, our job is to show them the gospel of Christ. Jesus didn't call the perfect. He called the broken, and only He can heal them.

The Bible says to love your neighbor and love the sinner, but it never said you should condone what is evil. It actually says to detest it. So how do we balance this?

Instead of compromising or crushing others, we reprove, rebuke, and exhort in patience and in love. We preach truth with patience.

Loving God is easy...but Sometimes loving His children can be hard.

We find it easy to love God because we're reminded of His goodness and all he has done for us. People on the other hand tend to hurt us or make us angry. And we tend to make that our primary focus when we think about them.

But the remedy is simple.
Romans 3:23 says for ALL have sinned and fall short. And if all don't mean all, then whosoever doesn't mean whosoever. Which means, I have, and you have. And instead of God focusing on how we hurt his heart or make him angry, he instead shows us how much he loves us.

Romans 5:8 while WE were sinners...he still died for us.

We were created in his image. Which means we should love like he loves. Because how bad would it feel...if God only tolerated us like we do each other? How horrible would it be if God TREATED us like we do each other.

Jesus said in John 13:34...
A NEW COMMANDMENT I give to you...Love your neighbor as I have loved you.
Forgiving, full of mercy, not holding a grudge, not staying angry.... but pursuing a relationship.

The commandments have been as old as time.
Love God. Love people.

The company you keep matters. The people you choose to surround yourself with, and especially the person you choose to be in a romantic relationship with, will either strengthen your walk with Christ or weaken your influence for Him.

This isn’t to say we shouldn’t reach the lost or share the Gospel with the world. We are called to do exactly that. But our closest relationships should encourage our faith, sharpen our character, and draw us closer to Jesus.

Take time to examine your circle. Does it reflect the heart of Christ? The people closest to you will influence the direction of your life, whether for good or for bad. Make sure your relationships point you, and others to Jesus instead of hurting your image in Christ.

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting upon his throne, high and exalted. The train of his robe filled the Temple. Isaiah 6:1

In the year my strength had died... in the year my faith seemed to fail... when everything around me looked uncertain and dark, I lifted my eyes. I looked to the hills, for my help comes from the Lord.
And what did I see?

I saw that God was still sitting on His throne.
He had not moved. He had not changed. He had not abandoned me. The king on earth may have fallen, but the King of Heaven was still reigning.

His authority was still intact. His glory was still unmatched. His power was still in control.
And His train filled the temple. His majesty filled the house. His presence was so great that even the hem of His royal robe filled the entire temple. Everywhere Isaiah looked, he was surrounded by the greatness of God.

Today, because of Jesus Christ, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The God whose glory filled the temple now dwells within His people.

That means everywhere I go, I go under the authority of my King. Every step I take is under His rule. Every battle I face is with His presence. I don't walk in my own strength...I walk in the power of the One who sits on the throne. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The Alpha and the Omega. Beginning and the End. The Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, Lion and Lamb, Light of the World...this same power now lives in US.

The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now lives in me. My circumstances may change. My strength may fail. Earthly kingdoms may rise and fall. But MY King is still on His throne, and His power is still at work in everyone who belongs to Him!

As we celebrate America's Independence Day, we're reminded how precious freedom truly is. We give thanks for the liberties we enjoy as a nation, but as followers of Christ, we're also reminded of an even greater freedom....
The freedom He purchased for us through His sacrifice.

"For you were called to be free, brothers and sisters. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
Galatians 5:13

The freedoms we cherish are best honored when they're used wisely. In the same way, the freedom we have in Christ was never meant to lead us toward selfishness, but toward love, service, and compassion. The greatest expression of Christian freedom isn't asking, "What am I free to do?" but, "How can I use my freedom to reflect Jesus?"

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, may we thank God for our nation's blessings while remembering that our highest calling is to love Him and serve others.

In Isaiah 57, God tells us through the prophet that He dwells in the high and holy place as the Lord of all creation, yet He also chooses to dwell with those who have a humble and contrite spirit.

The chapter goes on to remind us that even when His people sinned and went astray, God promised to heal them and restore comfort to them.

What an amazing God and Father we serve to be so holy and powerful, yet so loving and compassionate. Even when we fail, His DESIRE is to restore, heal, and draw us back to Himself.

What a glorious thought of how he loves us...
"By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us." 1st John 3:16a

There are moments in ministry when you can feel it, God is moving. Lives are being touched, the youth are opening up, hearts are softening, and something real is happening. You’re pouring out, showing up, and being used.

And that’s exactly when the opposition comes.

Because the enemy sees it too.

He sees the impact. He sees the connection. He sees the difference being made. And he will try to shut it down, sometimes through circumstances, sometimes through people, sometimes through doors that suddenly close without warning.

But what the enemy intends to stop, God uses to redirect.

What feels like rejection is often divine repositioning.

Just when it looks like it’s over, God steps in and says, “You’re not done.” He opens a new door, one you didn’t expect. A deeper opportunity. A wider space. A place where you can speak freely, and lead people to Jesus without restriction. A place where the Holy Spirit can move without limits.

Revelation 3:8 says, “I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.”

If God opened it, no person can close it. And if something closed, trust that it wasn’t the final door, it was just a transition.

So don’t get discouraged when things don’t go the way you planned. Don’t let disappointment convince you that your calling has been canceled. It hasn’t.

The enemy may try to interfere, but he does not have the final say.

He’s already lost.

And through Christ, we are already victorious.

Stay faithful. Keep going. God will always make a way to continue His work through you.

There is a single mother in our community who truly needs help right now.

I want to share that I know her personally, she is a kind, Christ-like woman who has been doing everything she can to care for her family. Not only is she raising her child on her own, but she also has custody of her handicapped brother.

Recently, they’ve fallen on very hard times, and her home has entered foreclosure. The next steps in that process begin tomorrow, and she is in urgent need of about $5,000 to help stop it. She started a new job in February and has been paying everything she possibly can, but simply hasn’t had enough time to catch up.

Out of respect for her privacy, she has asked to remain anonymous online, but please know this is a real and immediate need for someone who truly deserves support.

Think about that for a second.
The cross wasn’t an accident. It was the plan.
God gave His Son....on purpose...
because He loves us that much. Jesus stepped in willingly and took what we deserved so we could have life.

That’s not just a powerful story… that’s real love.
It’s not about religion!! it’s about a relationship!!

So the real question is…do you love Him enough to give your life to Him?

Happy Resurrection Sunday 🕊️

Today we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Through His death, He paid the price for our sin, and through His resurrection, He gave us new life.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Because He lives, we now have access to His presence every single day. We are not separated, we are invited in, continually.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace…” — Hebrews 4:16

As the Church, we are called to live in that presence daily. To turn away from the distractions of this world and fix our eyes fully on Jesus. This is not a passive walk, this is a surrendered, set-apart life.

“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” — Colossians 3:2

Now is the time to be bold. To stand firm in truth. To not shrink back, but to rise up in the authority we’ve been given through Christ.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

After His resurrection, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit, our Helper, our power, our guide. We have been equipped with spiritual gifts not to sit idle, but to move, to serve, and to lead others to Him.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses…” — Acts 1:8

This Resurrection Sunday, let it be more than a celebration, let it be a call. A call to walk daily in His presence, to live boldly, and to lead others to the salvation only found in Jesus.

He is risen, and we are called to rise with Him! 🔥
