"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2 (KJV)

One of the simplest and most powerful ways to bear another person's burden is through prayer. When we pray for others, we shift our focus from ourselves and place the needs of others before God. Prayer may not always change a situation immediately, but it invites God's presence, comfort, wisdom, and power into the lives of those we lift up.
Jesus Himself prayed for others throughout His ministry. He prayed for His disciples, for those who were suffering, and even for those who opposed Him. His example reminds us that intercessory prayer is an act of love.
Today, think of someone who needs encouragement, healing, guidance, or peace. Take a moment to pray for them by name and trust God with their needs.

Hope to see you at church today

"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

Sunday is a special opportunity to pause from the busyness of life and focus our hearts on God. No matter what challenges, disappointments, or victories this past week has brought, God's faithfulness remains unchanged. His mercies are new every morning, and His grace is sufficient for every need.
As you prepare for worship today, remember that God is worthy of praise not only because of what He does, but because of who He is. He is our Creator, Sustainer, Savior, and Friend. When we gather with other believers, we are reminded that we are part of His family and that we do not walk this journey alone.
Take a moment today to thank God for His blessings, seek His guidance for the coming week, and ask Him to help you be a light to those around you. Let your worship be genuine, your heart be open to His Word, and your spirit be ready to receive His peace.

Scripture:
"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord." — Psalm 122:1 (KJV)

As Saturday comes to a close, it gives us an opportunity to prepare our hearts and minds for worship on Sunday. Going to church is more than attending a service; it is gathering with fellow believers to honor God, receive His Word, and be strengthened in faith.
The busyness of the week can leave us distracted, tired, and burdened. Yet God invites us to come into His presence with thanksgiving and expectation. Before tomorrow arrives, take time to pray, reflect on God's goodness, and ask Him to speak to your heart during worship.
Church is a place where we encourage one another, grow spiritually, and remember that we are part of God's family. Whether you serve, sing, pray, or simply listen, your presence matters. God can use tomorrow's service to renew your strength, provide direction, and deepen your relationship with Him.
Tonight, ask yourself:

Am I coming to worship God or simply attend a service?
Is there anything I need to surrender to the Lord before tomorrow?
How can I encourage someone at church tomorrow?

Don't just plan to go to church tomorrow—prepare to meet with God.

There are moments when life feels uncertain and the path ahead is unclear. We try to figure everything out on our own, carrying burdens God never intended for us to hold alone. These verses remind us that trusting God is not partial surrender—it is wholehearted dependence.
Trusting the Lord means believing His wisdom is greater than our understanding. Even when circumstances do not make sense, God is still guiding, protecting, and working behind the scenes. Acknowledging Him in “all thy ways” means inviting Him into every decision, every struggle, and every hope.
God does not promise a trouble-free road, but He does promise direction. When we place our confidence in Him, He faithfully orders our steps.

What is one area of your life today where you need to stop leaning on your own understanding and fully trust God?

Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the beginning of summer — it is a sacred reminder of sacrifice, courage, and honor.
As believers, we recognize that sacrifice reflects the heart of Christ. Jesus willingly gave His life so that we could have freedom, hope, and eternal life. In a similar way, countless service members gave their lives so others could live in peace and liberty. Their bravery should move us to gratitude, humility, and prayer.
Take a moment today to thank God for those who served faithfully and never returned home. Pray for military families carrying grief, for veterans carrying memories, and for our nation to walk in wisdom, justice, and unity.
May we never take freedom for granted. And may we live lives worthy of the sacrifices made for us — showing love, serving others, and honoring God in all we do.

Freedom is never free and grace is the greatest gift of all.
