Today we learned about King Saul—the first king of Israel! We talked about how Saul was chosen by God to lead His people, and how being a leader comes with a great responsibility to listen to and obey God.

Afterwards we made our own crowns as reminders of our one true king, Jesus! 🤍

Petite Praisers learned that they are special because they are God’s handiwork!(Ephesians 2:10)
Just like we have tools in our tool belt that help us build and repair things, God uses tools such as the Bible, prayer, and community (Pastor, teachers and friends) to help build us into what he wants us to be.

🐑🤍 “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” — John 10:27

Today our SR Kingdom Kids learned that Jesus is our Shepherd. When we listen for His voice and follow Him, we can trust that He will always lead us in the right direction. He knows us, loves us, and will never lead us astray. 🤍

And of course, we had to make our own little sheep to remind us of today’s lesson! Graham crackers + marshmallows = the cutest little flock! 🐑

We raced down the water slide, filled our bellies with sweets galore, and then wound down with some craft fun! What a fun-filled afternoon and such a sweet way to wrap up our summer together! 💙

We’re so thankful for all the memories we’ve made this summer with our Kingdom Kids, and now it’s time to get ready for our kiddos to head back to school next week! 📚✏️ Praying for a wonderful school year ahead!

Today we learned about another Fruit of the Spirit, Patience.

We have to have Patience with each other and with situations, understanding God is in control.

We were SO grateful to have some of our friends back with us. We missed them!
We were patient until they returned.
