“Remember when you faithfully showed up Sunday after Sunday, found a place to serve without having to be begged, chased down, guilted, or personally recruited—and stopped blaming the pastor because you weren’t ‘plugged in’?”

Said no one who expects the church to serve them while the same faithful one-third keeps serving everyone else.

At some point, spiritual maturity means you stop asking, “Why hasn’t somebody gotten me involved?” and start asking, “Where can I serve?”
