Then come back on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, at 9:00am or 11:00am as we continue the conversation with a sermon inspired by the movie. It’s a great week to invite your family, bring a friend, and spend time together in a meaningful way. 💙

Thank you to our amazing Broad Street UMC staff for spending the day together at Starrette Farm for our annual staff retreat!

Our theme was “Bigger Than We Imagine,” inspired by Ephesians 3:20:

“Now to God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”

Throughout the day, we worshiped together, explored our Enneagram types and how they shape our ministry, learned about Emotional Intelligence from Rev. Dr. John McGill, and spent time dreaming about the future. One of the highlights of the day was setting a shared goal for 2027!

It was a full day of learning, laughter, reflection, and visioning. A full day. A great staff. A church with a bright future. God is doing more than we can ask or imagine!

Sometimes encouragement looks like a kind word.
Sometimes it looks like patience.
Sometimes it looks like showing up for someone while they are still learning, growing, and figuring things out.

This week, as we continue our June movie series with Nanny McPhee, we are reminded that change does not always happen all at once — and people often grow best when they are surrounded by guidance, grace, and love.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 reminds us to encourage one another and build each other up. What a beautiful reminder for families, friendships, churches, and communities.

🌡️ Stay Cool This Summer! With temperatures on the rise, the Iredell County Salvation Army is opening a Cooling Station for anyone who needs a safe place to escape the summer heat.

📚☀️ The Ubuntu Summer Literacy Program returns June 22 at Mosaic UMC!

Each summer, Ubuntu helps 36 children strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and discover the joy of learning. But we can’t do it without volunteers!

There are several ways you can help:
📖 Read with a child and let them read to you
🍽️ Help with Tuesday Night Family Engagement Dinners
⭐ Assist with Tuesday Aftercare (our biggest need this year!)
🙌 Serve as a general volunteer in a variety of ways
