Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, mentor, and nurturing heart in our church family. 💐

Today we celebrate the women who pray through storms, love without limits, sacrifice in silence, and pour strength into generations. Your kindness, wisdom, and faith leave fingerprints on every life you touch.

“The Lord bless you and keep you.” – Numbers 6:24

To the mothers who are smiling today, we celebrate with you.
To the mothers carrying heavy hearts, we pray with you.
To the women who mother through love, guidance, and grace, we honor you today.

Beyond What You Can Imagine
A Devotional Inspired by The Epistle to the Ephesians 3:20
Scripture
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Devotional Thought 🌿
There are seasons where life feels small.
Small hope.
Small energy.
Small expectations.
You pray carefully because disappointment has taught you not to dream too loudly. You start asking God for survival instead of transformation. Just enough strength to get through the shift. Just enough peace to sleep tonight. Just enough courage to make it one more day.
Yet Ephesians 3:20 arrives like thunder behind a locked sky.
Paul reminds us that God does not operate inside the cramped architecture of human limitation. While we measure possibility with calculators, timelines, and visible evidence, God moves in dimensions we cannot fully map.
Sometimes the greatest miracle is not the door opening immediately.
Sometimes it is the quiet rebuilding happening inside you while you wait.
The verse says His power is already “at work within us.”
Within us.
That means even when nothing around you appears to change, heaven may still be constructing strength in hidden rooms of your spirit:
resilience after heartbreak
peace after chaos
wisdom after confusion
courage after fear
Seeds grow underground long before fields turn green. 🌱
You may only see dirt right now. God sees roots forming.
The beautiful tension of this scripture is that it stretches both faith and imagination. It asks:
What if your life is not over in the places you assumed?
What if the delay is not abandonment?
What if God is preparing something larger than your current emotional vocabulary can describe?
The hallway is darker than you expected.
But the story may be larger than you expected too.
Prayer 🙏
God,
Sometimes my vision shrinks because life has been heavy. Help me remember that You are not limited by what I can currently see or understand. Strengthen the power working within me. Rebuild hope where disappointment settled in. Teach me to trust You even in unfinished seasons. And when my imagination fails, remind me that Yours never does.
Amen.
