👉🏾Being raised in church is not the same as being born again.
Being raised in church does not automatically make someone a child of God. You can know the songs, quote the Scriptures, faithfully attend every service, and still need to be born again. Jesus told Nicodemus, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). Salvation is not inherited….it is experienced through genuine repentance, obedience to the gospel, and the new birth. As Jesus preached, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). God is not looking for religious routine; He is looking for transformed hearts.
👉🏾When did we stop believing that the God of the Bible still does what He said He would do?
When did we stop believing that the Book of Acts is still alive today? The same God who healed the sick, cast out devils, filled believers with the Holy Ghost, and confirmed His Word with signs and wonders has not changed. “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8). The problem is not that God has lost His power…it is that many have stopped expecting Him to move. Paul declared, “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power” (1 Corinthians 4:20). Jesus said, “But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you” (Matthew 12:28). The Kingdom of God is not just a message we preach….it is a reality that is demonstrated. We still believe in repentance. We still believe in the new birth. We still believe in the Holy Ghost. We still believe that Jesus saves, heals, delivers, and performs miracles today.
