South Georgia Youth and Discipleship announces Summer Camp 2023! WEDGE YOUTH MINISTRY is looking forward to it!!

Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls;

There is a longing in all of us to experience God like never before. From the youngest of our students to those soon walking into adulthood, God is longing for a deeper more intimate relationship with us.

As we read in Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." What if there were things in the depths of all of us that God wanted to show us that could completely transform us?

This summer we will explore those very things that God has been longing to tell us as we take a dive into the "DEEP." 🤿

We’re excited to announce we’re having a Youth Family Day at the movies! The Skit Guys have a movie coming out next week and we’re taking over the Mugs & Movies theater to see it! Your whole family can join us for this fun time together!

Our Pastor and Council Members have decided to cancel our prayer and youth meetings scheduled for tomorrow night due to the rise of covid among our people. At this time, Sunday morning worship is still scheduled at 11am. Please keep everyone in your prayers and stay safe!

Due to exposure to Covid-19 and after talking with church admin, out of an abundance of caution, we're going to cancel tonight’s service. We will pick back up on Wednesday December 1st for Christmas decorating and dinner will be provided!

Good Evening Everyone! We are nearing the end of the year with a lot of activities going on for the holidays! We have planned out our youth activities for the remainder of the year and will include those dates below. This is a lot of information, so as always, please let us know if you have questions!

Wednesday - November 17 — Youth Group 6:30pm-8pm We’ll have a fun night of food and games

Tuesday - November 22 10am — Packing Thanksgiving boxes at Owen’s Supply Company in Pembroke. If you and/or your youth are available to help, Pastor Jeffers will be leaving from the church at 9am to drive over to Pembroke.

Wednesday - November 23 - No Youth Group Meeting - Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Wednesday - December 1 - Christmas Decorating at the church. We need all of our youth to help with getting the church decorated! Meet us at the church at 7pm. Dinner will be provided.

Wednesday - December 8 - A Family Christmas - church-wide Christmas banquet at the church at 7pm.

Sunday - December 12 - Youth Ugly Christmas Sweater Party - Immediately after church until 4pm. Wear your ugly Christmas sweater/shirt to church. Lunch will be provided, we’ll play games and exchange gifts. Bring $15 for your gift.

No Wednesday Night youth meetings December 15, 22, or 29. Enjoy the holidays with your family!

Unfortunately due to the Food Truck Festival being an outdoor event and the high percentage threat of rain and cold tomorrow, we have made the decision to cancel the trip.
We are working on planning the next event very soon and will let you know as soon as those plans are finalized. Stay safe and warm this weekend!!
