The Easter Celebration will be at Willowbrook Park Baptist Church this year (1780 Richmond Ave. across from Z-One). We will have an egg hunt for all the kids who come to the 11am service. We will have a service for families and then the egg hunt afterward. It is all free.

Yesterday, April 4th, marked 50 years since Dr. King's assassination. I am so thankful for his courageous life and leadership! I wish today we were further along on his "dream," but it appears that we stagger along between progress and regression. When will get beyond judging men by the color of their skin? This persistent problem is akin to keeping dandelions out of the lawn. Therefore, with the help of the Lord, I pledge to root out racism every time I see it springing up in my own heart and family, and I pray by the Lord's help that my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will do the same. And I ask you my friends to help me to do so, and to resolve within yourself to do the same. If Martin Luther King Jr. taught us anything, he taught us that a man who resolves to make a difference, CAN!

Thank you so much to everyone who helped us pull of our second Easter EGGstravaganza! Also, thank you to everyone who came by. If we do it again next year we know of many ways to make sure it is a much better event for everyone involved.

I am thrilled that we have had so many people enquire about this Saturday's Easter EGGStravaganza. We will have 4 separate hunts. 1st one at 12:15, then one at 12:45, then one at 1:15, and one at 1:45. Everything is free, there is no registration cost, but we do ask that everyone stop at the front tables to register for the door prizes, so we can also know how many attended, and if any are interested in learning more about The Church at Woodrow. Also, we will have a special section of the field for those 2 yrs. and under, and 3&4s. 5s and up will hunt on the middle field. Parents with small children are welcome to assist their kids in hunting.

You're invited to the Easter EGGstravaganza, a free Easter Egg hunt event for the community on April 15th from 12-2 pm. We will have over 2,000 eggs, pictures with the Easter bunny, cash eggs, door prizes and more. We will hunt for eggs at 1075 Woodrow Road. All are welcome.
