The familiar can bring comfort. But does it always help us move forward?

In “Making Idols in the Desert,” the Rev. Kirstin Swanson reflects on the golden calf in Exodus 32 and what happens when uncertainty leads a community to cling to the past.

Desert seasons can also give us room to pause, let go, and listen for what God is inviting us into next.

Civic Engagement Commission - Idea Generation Sessions are back! We will be hosting/facilitating several between October 14 and November 18. Mark your calendars.

A better future can begin with one act of love. 🌱

In her reflection “Dream with God,” the Rev. Kirstin Swanson invites us to consider the world we’re helping create.

The prophet Micah challenged those who abused their power. He also shared a vision of peace and a life without fear. That vision invites us to imagine what could be, and act with love today.

Feed a neighbor. Make room for someone. Stand up for someone being treated unfairly.

This Saturday, join us for the 10th Global Mission Fair! 🌎❤️

This year’s theme is “One Love: Proclaiming God’s Love Across Real and Imagined Borders.”

The event will feature keynote speaker the Rev. Canon David Chavez, the Episcopal Church’s partnership officer for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Transportation is available between Christ Church and Grand Central at 42nd Street, as well as between Christ Church and the St. George Ferry Terminal.
