My mom had a stroke about a month ago and the word was that since she was 94 years old recovery would not be an expectation. She left the hospital unable to walk, talk, understand, eat alone, etc.
This little church, the "church of miracles" as some people call it, starting praying for her on a regular basis. Mom was able to get at home help and Speech, Occupational and Physical therapies, as well as cognitive therapy despite the difficulties with the insurance company which did not want to approve ANYTHING! And the church continued praying.
Yesterday, Sunday evening, my mom and I walked into the church for the evening service. It was the first time she was able to attend since long before her stroke. She sat down, listened to the music and sermon, the testimonies and prayers, and cried in gratitude.
Praise God for his steadfastness. Praise the Church That Never Closes for their prayer.

We had our semi annual Free Community Yard Sale today. Donations of clothing, toys, miscellaneous merchandise and household goods was amazing! And the people who came to take whatever they needed was a blessing.

Thanks for everyone who made this event possible. And thanks to God for allowing us all to be part of his kingdom on earth.

Come and visit us tomorrow (Sunday, Sept 28, 2014); we still have lots to give away.

Our worship service begins on Sunday at 10:30 in the morning and our Sunday evening service begins at 5:30 pm. All are invited! Both are followed by a hearty, home cooked meal.

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that I share with you the passing of our Pastor Adolf Pagliarulo. He left us to join Jesus at 3:00 Monday afternoon after experiencing a sudden heart attack and despite lengthy attempts to revive him. Jesus took him quietly and gently and Pastor Adolf suffered no pain. He now is at rest among the great crowd of witnesses in the realms of Heaven. We ask that the family be held up in prayer during this time of loss and that God, in His mercy, support and strengthen them. And may Pastor Adolf find eternal peace and everlasting love in the arms of the Beloved.
