Russia launched almost 500 drones and cruise missiles against Ukraine. It attacks in broad daylight on purpose – to maximise civilian casualties and destruction.

In Obukhiv, Kyiv region, a Russian drone crashed into an apartment building. In the Sumy region, Russia launched a combined attack on residential areas, killing a woman and injuring at least four people.

This is how Russia answers Ukraine’s Easter ceasefire proposal. It rejects diplomacy and every effort for peace. Russia must face the consequences it deserves.

On January 22, as Ukraine marks Unity Day, Russia once again attacked Ukrainian cities with drones.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, shelling killed one person and injured at least nine others. Twenty-four private homes and outbuildings were damaged.

One of Russian drones hit a 16-storey residential building in Dnipro. At least fourteen civilians were injured, including a 14-year-old girl.

Russia aims to destroy our unity but after every such attack Ukrainians come together to help each other. The aggressor state must be held accountable for all its crimes against civilians.
