The annual blessing of the animals on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. Our animals are part of God’s creation among us. May He protect them from harm and may they continue to be a source of happiness and joy to their families!

Our African Heritage Day celebration last Sunday was a joyous and blessed day. The nations of Liberia, Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone were represented.

St. Mary’s congratulates The new Reverend Kirstin Swanson, who was ordained as a priest today. Rev. Swanson was raised on Staten Island and has been an integral part of numerous ministries across our Borough churches since her childhood years. We wish her peace and happiness during this new journey of her life, and keep her and her family in our prayers.
