What a beautiful event for our sister yesterday! Thank you to everyone that came out.. Colleen, you’ve got this and we’ve got you 💜

Colleen Murphy-Valcarcel, 55, is recovering from brain surgery and was diagnosed after a biopsy with a grade 4 glioblastoma — the most aggressive type of primary brain cancer, frequently characterized by rapid spread, necrotic cells, and high malignancy.

Hello all,

One of our LAOH Division #10 ladies needs our help! Colleen was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and is just beginning her fight.

We are joining with her family who is holding a fundraiser on April 25th at Randall Manor Tavern to try to ease the burden of medical expenses and daily living.

We will be creating baskets to raffle off during the fundraiser. If anyone would like to donate a basket or towards creating one please reach out to Cathy Reid (917) 923-1715 or Cindy Donnelly (917) 680-2374.

We were proud to march down Forest Ave for the Staten Island St. Patrick’s Day Parade ☘️🇮🇪

Nothing beats the energy of parade day and the pride we share in our heritage 💚

A special congratulations to our Aide to the Grand Marshal, Kathy O’Keeffe Burke, along with all the aides and Miss Hibernia Jessica—we are so proud!
