Attached is the Hijri calendar with prayer and adhan timings.

Please note that we follow the ISNA, meaning Ramadan begins after sunset on February 28th, and the first day of fasting will be on March 1st.

Alsalamu Alaykum, Dear Respected Brothers and Sisters,

We extend warm Eid Al-Fitr greetings to each and every one of you. May this blessed day bring abundant joy, peace, and blessings into your lives. As we gather with our families and loved ones to celebrate the end of Ramadan, let us reflect on the lessons of patience, self-discipline, and compassion that this holy month has imparted upon us.

We are pleased to announce that Eid al-Fitr will be on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 inshaa Allah. The Eid prayer will be held at C3 (200 Ellis Pl, State College, PA 16801) with Takbeerat starting at 8:15 am, followed by the prayer at 8:30 am.

Additionally, we would like to bring to your attention some important notes for our Eid celebration:

1- Prayer Protocol: Kindly ensure to bring your prayer mat.
2- Post-Prayer Activities: Following the Eid prayer and Khutbah, breakfast will be served, and we will distribute the rewards for the Quran competition. Furthermore, there will be a special Eid celebration for our children, filled with joyous activities and treats.
3- Community Unity: Let us use this opportunity to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood within our community. Take the time to greet one another with love and respect, and remember those who may be less fortunate by extending a helping hand.

As we come together to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, let us offer gratitude to Allah (SWT) for granting us the strength and resilience to complete the blessed month of Ramadan. May our prayers and deeds be accepted, and may this Eid guide in a new era of hope, prosperity, and unity for our community.

Assalaamu Alaikum Dear Community Members,

Please join us tonight after Isha prayer at 7 PM for a Halaqa given by our guest speaker Br. Tariq Ameer. The topic of the Halaqa will be “Obtaining Certainty in Times of Confusion.”
Br. Tariq is an alumni of Bayan Islamic Graduate School and is currently working as a prison chaplain in New Jersey. We look forward to seeing you all there!

ISCP Board and ISCP community members would like to extend a sincere heartfelt thank you to all the council members of the State Borough for listening to us and giving us the opportunity to voice our opinions regarding a resolution that was brought forth to request a ceasefire order and humanitarian aid in Gaza from the Biden Administration. We are so grateful that the ceasefire resolution passed thanks to a unanimous vote from the council members. We would also like to thank all those who attended from our ISCP community and the greater State College community and showed their support for this resolution. Because of all of you, we are the first city in all of Pennsylvania to pass a Ceasefire resolution! All praise due to Allah the Almighty!
