Dear Friends,

Adaton Community Church is now Adaton Methodist Church! We joined the Global Methodist Conference last year and have now changed our name to reflect our long time beliefs as a conservative Christian church. Our worship service is at 8:45 am Sunday with Sunday School starting at 10:00 am. Come join us! Our Pastor, Bro Cary Sutphin delivers insightful, thoughtful sermons; often surprising everyone with new information and thoughts most did not know.

Rev Cary Sutphin comes to Adaton Community Church as our Pastor May 25, 2025. Our worship service will be held at 8:45 am with Sunday School afterwards. Adaton Community Church is a Global Methodist Congregation. Rev Sutphin is known for his thoughtful intellectual sermons. Come join us! You will be sure to beat the church crowds at any restaurant!

Adaton Community Church will hold it’s annual Memorial Service on Sunday May 18th at 11:00. A pot luck lunch will follow the service. Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers will provide Gospel Music during the service.

Adaton Community Church is changing our Sunday Worship times!

Worship Service will start at 9:00 am this coming Sunday, March 2nd.
Sunday School will begin after Worship Service approximately 10:00 am.

Great news for Adaton Community Church!

Out church voted to join the Global Methodist Church. We are in the process of applying for membership. We look forward to this exciting new chapter and future for Adaton.

One Way Ministeries is coming to Adaton Community Church at 303 Reed Road West - just off County Lake Road & just past Adaton Self Creek Fire Department.

Join us this Sunday, October 20 at 11:00 am for a wonderful message in music. Steve and Becky Carver of One Way Ministries will be our special guests leading us in praise and worship.

Adaton Community church welcomes a MSU Wesley Foundation Staff & two Students to deliver our 11:00 AM Worship Services: Mary Cecil Smith, Sep 8; Elizabeth Cornwell, Sep 15; and Lia Darracott, Sep 22. Jerome Goddard will lead a combined church service with Adaton and Longview Churches on Sep 29. We will have a pot luck dinner after church on Sep 29.

Adaton Community Church is excited to announce that we will have Dr. Jerome Goddard preaching at Adaton through the Summer into early Fall.

Our Sunday School and Church Services will meet 30 minutes later on Sunday to accommodate Jerome’s schedule.

Effective June 2 through August 18:

Sunday School 10:30 to 11:30
Worship Services 11:30 to 12:30

Adaton Community Church will host our 2024 Memorial Sunday on May 19th at 11:00 AM. We will have Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers provide a musical worship service. A potluck lunch will follow the worship service.
