🇺🇸 Reminder: One Service This Sunday 🇺🇸

This Sunday, June 28, we will gather for one combined worship service at 10:00 AM as we celebrate our nation's upcoming 250th birthday.

Join us for a special Patriotic Service featuring worship, gratitude for God's blessings on our nation, and a time to reflect on the freedoms we enjoy and the responsibility we have to share the hope of Christ with others.

Following the service, everyone is invited to stay for our Churchwide Patriotic Potluck in the Warehouse. We'll provide the protein—just bring your favorite dish to share!

FRONTLINE JOURNAL: Entry 3
from Sunny in South Asia (Name changed for safety)

"The farmers market I discovered this week felt like something pulled straight from every granola girl’s dream… including mine.

Fresh flowers bundled in twine. Handmade soaps stacked on wooden tables. Little paper cups of steaming chai. Music drifting through the air while scooters buzzed past crowded streets and vendors called out to customers I still can’t fully understand. And somehow, right in the middle of all of it, God was working.

I spent part of the afternoon talking with a new friend about salvation and about how deeply Jesus loves her. You can sense when the Lord is drawing near to someone, and I truly believe He is drawing near to her heart. Please pray that she would repent and believe.

She introduced me to her roommate who is laid back, kind, easygoing, with a beautiful soul. She isn’t a believer either, but both of them are open to the possibility of Jesus. And honestly, that alone feels worth celebrating today.

Sometimes it’s surreal being halfway around the world building friendships with people whose lives look so different from mine. But then there are moments that remind me how deeply human we all are.

At one point they offered me a ride on the back of a moto weaving through crowded streets while Michael Jackson’s greatest hits blasted through someone’s speaker nearby. I couldn’t help but laugh.

It was a good day. Because somewhere between the farmers market, conversations about Jesus, granola, and Michael Jackson’s Thriller… I was reminded that when Jesus anchors people together, we begin to find common ground in the most unexpected places.

☐ Laugh at his dad jokes (even if you've heard them 37 times)
☐ Tell him he was right about something
☐ Let him explain how to grill a hamburger "the correct way"
☐ Listen to at least one story that begins with, "Back when I was your age..."
☐ Thank God for the influence he's had on your life
☐ Sit next to him in church this Sunday

Father's Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the men who have encouraged, protected, taught, and loved us through every season of life. Join us this Sunday as we honor fathers and worship together. Service starts at 8:30 or 11.
