We were so blessed on Mother's Day to have a full Church. After church we had a luncheon catered by our own Chef John Katterhenry featuring two delectable quiches, fresh fruit, hashbrown casserole, homemade muffins and desserts. Following the luncheon we honored Virginia Johns who has been a member of St. Mark's since 1989 and has been involved in almost every activity and lay ministry in the church. Most notably she was the Sunday school teacher for at least 30 years, Altar Guild Director for 20+ years, past DOK President, Reception Chair, participated in and organized the Chapel ministry feeding students once a month for many years and has helped organize and host monthly Bunco evenings open to the public to raise money for the Blessing Box and volunteers in the office. It is safe to say not much happens at St. Mark's in which she is not involved although she prefers to stay in the background. It was an honor to add her name to The Woman of the Year plaque 2026!

Easter at St Mark's in Starke was a glorious day with a full church. Here are some of the great pictures that were taken on this day. A lot of them are Father Mark's children and grandchildren and we're so thankful for them in our midst.
