The first members of the Presbyterian Church in Indian Creek met as members of the St. Peter’s German Reformed Church. This church was erected in 1867 on the south edge of Pulaski and served its German Reformed congregation until 1890 when they applied to and were accepted by the Logansport Presbytery for membership. The newly organized Presbyterian Church continued to meet in that building until 1906 when construction of the new church on the north edge of Pulaski was completed. This old frame building was then demolished, the bell carried across town, and the ground added to the nearby churchyard cemetery. [Source: Star City Centennial, 1859-1959]
