💚Hey Church Family!💚
I pray you are each doing well this Friday the 13th!☺️ We serve an amazing Father that cares for each of us. Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations. God is true and His promises are yes and amen. Stay encouraged. When the enemy's voice is loud and the chaos overwhelming, speak the promises of God over your life. He is for you and He will never leave you.
Please be in prayer for Sunday. I know that both services will be phenomenal. Invite someone to church. Sunday mornings have been wonderful and full of the presence of God. Sunday nights have been precious. There is a sweet, sweet, Spirit and breakthroughs on Sunday evenings. In my humble opinion, you are missing out by missing service.
I want to personally -and on behalf of Pastor- to thank each of you for reaching out, for praying, and for loving Pastor during this time. In case any of you are unaware, Pastor fell a couple weeks ago. Due to this fall, he had surgery on Monday, March 9th. The surgeon was very pleased with the outcome of the surgery. Praise the Lord! Pastor has been in an extreme amount of pain since late Monday evening with little relief. It does not seem to ease off with pain medication; I would hate to know his pain without it. So, please continue to pray. Because even in this, God is good, God is faithful, and He is with us. We have been so honored, humbled, grateful- the list goes on- with the outpouring of love from each of you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Yall are an answer to our prayers. God is so good, I will say it again, God is so good! I know there is a testimony in all of this. And we know … “And they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.” Revelation 12:11

I look forward to worshipping and praising God this Sunday! I will go expecting a Word from the Lord and I hope you will to, amen!!

Psalm 24:7-10
Lift up your hands, O ye gates; And be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

Lifting my beautiful family up in prayer this evening! We love you! and Jesus loves you more! ~First Lady, Paula Smith

Insert Your Name Here… that’s the “title” of this today, so everywhere there is a blank, insert your own name!

Okay, friends, let's talk for a sec! 🤔 Ever stop to really think about Easter? It's not just bunnies and chocolate (even though those are fun!). It's about something incredible that happened.

Think about it: Jesus, who was totally good and pure, willingly died. Why? For us. For ______________. For me. For every single person on this planet. It's mind-blowing, right? 🤯

But the story doesn't end with a cross. Today, we celebrate the comeback! Death tried to hold Him down, but guess what? It failed! He rose! 💪 And that changes everything for _____________, and for all of us. Think about that, _____________. He carried the weight of our sins, all of them. But today, we celebrate! Death could not hold Him! He rose again, showing His power over the grave and offering new life to __________!

What does it mean for _________? It means a fresh start. Forgiveness. A real, genuine hope that goes beyond anything we can imagine. It's a gift, freely given to _____________. Jesus' sacrifice and His resurrection mean forgiveness, peace, and the promise of forever with Him.
Jesus loves _____________!

It’s the day after Jesus’s crucifixion. We often talk about the days leading up to the crucifixion, the day of the crucifixion, and the glorious day of Jesus’s resurrection, but have you ever really thought about the day after Jesus was crucified?

For many in Jerusalem on that Saturday after the crucifixion, a mix of emotions likely filled the air. Some who had witnessed Jesus’s ministry and miracles might have felt a deep sadness and shock at His unjust ex*****on. For others, those less directly impacted, it might have been another grim day under Roman rule- another tragic and senseless death that they had become accustomed to.

For those who saw Jesus as a threat, the Saturday after His crucifixion likely brought a sense of victory. They had silenced the one who challenged their authority and traditions giving them a feeling of restored order to their rule. But even for His enemies, the dramatic events surrounding the crucifixion – the darkness, the earthquake, the ripping of the temple curtain – might have stirred a sense of unease or even lingering doubt in some hearts. I’m sure Jesus’s followers were watched with suspicion, anticipating any potential unrest.

And for His followers, the silence would have been deafening. The weight of Friday's horror – the brutal crucifixion of their leader, their hope, Jesus – would have been crushing. Grief and disbelief likely battled within them as the future they envisioned had been shattered. There was probably fear for their own safety since they had been associated associated with a condemned man. Can you imagine their uncertainty about their own future? A loss of purpose would have likely settled in as their guiding light had been extinguished. Yet, amidst all the despair, maybe there was flicker of Jesus’s promises which remained for some.

That Saturday was a pause – a breath held between the agony of the cross and the dawn of something unimaginable. It was a day where darkness seemed to have won. But even in that silence and despair, God's plan was unfolding. The stone had not yet been rolled away. It is a reminder for us that even in our darkest moments, when all hope seems lost, God is still at work. The resurrection was coming. Sunday was on its way. Hold on to that promise – that even after the deepest sorrow, new life and hope are always possible through Jesus Christ. 🙏
