Sunday Sermon: “Admonish One Another”
Admonishment is the most difficult of the one another commands. Romans 15:14 tells us we are able to admonish one another but it must be done in a godly manner. Our prayer for our brothers and sisters in Christ may be Colossians 1:9-10 and admonishment must come from a heart that has their Christian life as a priority. Our genuine love for them should be evident.

“Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. Never repay evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all people. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all people. Romans 12:1-6 (NASB) Meditate on this as we strive to be of the same mind by being an example to unbelievers, displaying the gospel, making disciples, and creating a place of peace and comfort for those who are hurting. Unity requires the power of God working within us.

Sunday, Aug. 9,2026 Sermon: Love One Another John 15:12-17
“This is my commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you.” John 15:12
Pray and ask God to give you a love for others only He can give. May we put others before ourselves, work to see the good in others, and remember that God loves and forgives us, so we strive to love like Jesus.

Our motives naturally are no better than those of the “godless” Jews or the vicious Assyrians. The greatest yoke of bo***ge in human history is sin. In Christ alone can that yoke be broken and fall from our necks. Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection from the dead are the true deliverance that He works for the remnant chosen by grace.
