Dear God, I thank you that as a result of what Your son, Jesus Christ, did for me, I am free from sin. I am under grace, able to be righteous because I am justified by the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father, it is because of grace I can live a holy life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

The path to life is "narrow, " and few, Jesus says, there be that find it. But there are many who find the broad way that leads to death. Jesus is the only Way to the Father. There are numerous false religions and false christs in the world, and godly discernment is needed to know which is the way of life.

The Lord is my shepherd. This means that he has tended to every one of my needs and he has ensured that I am so well taken care of, I will have nothing to crave or desperately desire. In God, we have everything and because of this we can be content, knowing that there is nothing in this world that can fill us the way God does.

A time of refeshing is coming from the Lord. It was prophesied long ago by God's prophets. It will come upon all the earth when the Kingdom of God appears, first for a thousand years and then on into eternity with a New Heaven and New Earth. The Jews were not wrong to expect an earthly Kingdom, for it had been promised to them, but they forgot about the spiritual nature of the Kingdom. They supposed that entrance into it could be based on being physical sons of Abraham. Instead, repentance is required to enter the Kingdom of God.

Faith is not an on-and-off action. It’s not something we do today, and forget tomorrow. Faith, for the believer, is a lifestyle. It determines our actions and motives. Our faith in Christ is what defines our very beings. Every day requires faith because of the world we live in. We live in a world that constantly tries to challenge our belief in God and His promises. Our lives can only be affirmed and assured by Christ, and Christ alone. In Christ we have peace, assurance, and confidence to take on every day. Faith can be seen as the gateway through which we receive it.

The Lord loves to hear our prayer. Within our daily lives, wherever we can, it is good to always keep open a line of communication to him. When many of us were young, prayers may have been simply things you said before bed or maybe before a meal. Whilst there is nothing wrong with this, personally I would encourage all followers of Christ to it much more regularly, in ones daily activities. They need not be long prayers, simply only short or brief lines addressed as to ones friend, in sharing ones thoughts and feelings, in asking for guidance as regularly as possible. In this, in regular communion with God, may we improve our ability to listen and to hear when he speaks to us.

Be always ready to serve the Lord in whatever you do, whenever. We may defer goals, dreams or work at every corner, finding it much easier to procrastinate, for 'tomorrow is another day', as the expression goes. Yet, this 'tomorrow' is often indefinite, and simply a way to ignore our responsibilities. But in the matter of serving God's will and command, there cannot be any deferment.Be always ready to serve the Lord in whatever you do, whenever.
