The Stanley SDA Church is part of a world-wide organization with more than 15 million members in countries around the world. We are also a small rural congregation that is glad to be part of the family of God in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We meet every Saturday morning for worship and welcome visitors to join us for the services at 11:00 am. About Seventh-day Adventists:
Our name identifie
s two distinctive beliefs that are important to our Christian fellowship. We observe the Seventh-day, Saturday, as a sabbath in which to worship God as the Creator and Redeemer. We share the hope of the literal and visible return of Jesus Christ who will restore the creation and rule as Lord of all. Adventists also believe --
in a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--that make up the one true God. that the one true God made salvation possible by sending Jesus, the Son, into the world to live, suffer, die and be rise from the dead. that Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and rose from the dead on the third day, and won the victory over sin and death for everyone places their faith in Him as Lord and Savior. As a Christian church, Seventh-day Adventists are a faith community rooted in the beliefs described by the Holy Scriptures.
