Many people misunderstand spiritual maturity.

Spiritual maturity is not merely knowing more. It is not accumulating more facts about the Bible or the Christian life.

Spiritual maturity is becoming increasingly responsive to God. It is becoming the kind of person who says “yes” to Him more quickly.

A soft heart is not measured by what you know. It is measured by how readily you obey.
