We're one month out from the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage's arrival in the Diocese of Bridgeport! Here's what we'll be up to on May 21, the third day of the Eucharistic Procession, which will pass through Norwalk, Darien and Stamford:

8 am - Mass at St. Matthew Parish, Norwalk
9 am - Procession from St. Matthew to St. John Cemetery, Norwalk
9:30 am - Eucharistic station and Rosary procession at St. John Cemetery
11 am - Procession from St. John Cemetery to St. Matthew
12 pm - Holy Hour and campus procession at St. Thomas More Parish, Darien
2:30 pm - Holy Hour at St. Mary Parish, Norwalk
4:30 pm - Holy Hour at Basilica of St. John the Evangelist, Stamford
5:30 pm - Campus Procession at Basilica of St. John
7 pm - Stational Chapel at St. Gabriel Church, Stamford
7:30 pm - Procession from St. Gabriel to St. Cecilia Church, Stamford
8 pm - Holy Hour at St. Cecilia
9:30 pm - Overnight Adoration begins at St. Cecilia (concluding with Benediction at 8 am)

Jesus is coming to Fairfield County!

That's right, the Diocese of Bridgeport is participating in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, as the Blessed Sacrament makes its way from New Haven to Indianapolis, the site of the 2024 National Eucharistic Conference!

The national procession will begin on Sunday, May 19 in Bridgeport and end on Wednesday, May 22 in Greenwich. Following the national leg of the procession will be nine days of local celebrations by deanery, which will culminate in a Mass of Thanksgiving on June 1, Corpus Christi Sunday.

A complete schedule for the national leg of the procession will be published in the coming days. Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bear witness to the True Presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament!

In this week's The One Newsletter, Bishop Caggiano invites all who serve in ministry to attend Ministry Day, the first since March 2020.

WHEN: September 30, 2023 * 8:30am - 1:30pm
WHERE: All Saints School, 139 W Rocks Rd, Norwalk

More than 35 workshops will be offered on various topics of parish life, ministry leadership, spiritual growth, etc. Several publishers and ministry groups will be on hand to exhibit their goods and offer practical advice.
